CAT 2018 Mock Test available; Aspirants must take before exam

CAT 2018 Mock Test for practice has been released. The link is activated on CAT Exam official website. Candidate can take test to get adapted to the exam environment. On CAT 2018 official website two links are activated, one for the PWD candidates.

The CAT 2018 Mock test contains all three sections as appears  with total 100 questions.IIM Calcutta has also released the Mock test guideline which will help the students to access the mock test easily. The practice paper will help the test takers to get familiar with the computer-based test to be held on November 25, 2018.

In the CAT 2018 Exam, all the questions are either MCQ or Non-MCQ based questions. The exam is divided into three sections of Verbal Ability, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Ability. Each question in the exam carries 3 marks. For Non- MCQ a question there is no negative marking whereas, for MCQ based questions, there is a negative marking of -1 mark.

  • The total duration test is of 3 hours and where every section is for one hour.
  • A candidate cannot move to the next section till he completes the time allocated in the previous section. Also, one cannot move back to the previous sections after the allotted time for that section is over (switching of sections not allowed).
  • There are two types of questions in the test: MCQs and non-MCQs, where the candidate has to write the answer in the space provided.
