MAT May 2018 - Eligibility

 

The minimum qualification for appearing in MAT is graduation in any discipline from any recognized University or equivalent.

A final year student in any undergraduate (i.e. B.A, B.Sc., B.Com, B.Tech., etc.) can also apply.Usually, there is a minimum percentage requirement in graduation which is different for different management institutes and universities.

Final year graduation students can also apply for MAT. They have to submit documents as a proof of completion of graduation within the prescribed time.

 

MAT May Application Form 2018

 

MAT May 2018 application forms are available online.The application fee can be paid online via (Credit Card/Debit Card (ATM Card) or Net Banking). MAT May 2018 application procedure begins . The last date to apply in offline and online modes is 27 April 2018.

The application fee is Rs. 1,652, for For PBT or CBT : Rs 1550/- For Both PBT and CBT : Rs 2650/-.

 

MAT 2018 MAY Admit Card

 

All provisionally registered candidates both for Paper Based and Computer Based Test can download their Admit Card from AIMA website link: https://mat.aima.in/may18 on or On or after 28 April 2018 (Saturday).

Specific Admit Card is generated both for the candidates opted for the Paper Based Test and for the Computer Based Test.

Admit Card contains Candidate's Name, Form No, Roll No, Test Date, Test Time and Test Venue Address. The candidate has to strictly follow the date and time allotted to him/her in the case of Computer Based Test.

MAT May 2018 will be conducted in both offline and online modes, and a candidate can select any of the modes while filling the form. MAT 2018 will have 200 objective type questions divided into five sections.

MAT May 2018 - Exam Syllabus

MAT May 2018 exam is not strictly pre defined. Still the MAT syllabus covers following major topics in each section.

Number System, Ratio and Proportion, Mixtures and Allegation; Unitary Method; Time and Distance; Commercial Maths; Profit and Loss, Interest; Geometry; Triangles, Circles; Mensuration; Algebra Permutation and Combinations; Sequence And Series; Trigonometry Heights and Distance; Linear Programming; Coordinate Geometry. MAT syllabus as it reflects consists of more topics on Arithmetic in MAT question paper. 

MAT 2018 syllabus on Data Analysis and Sufficiency cover the topics on Table; Data Sufficiency; graphs (line, area), charts (column, bar, pie), venn diagram,Critical reasoning, Visual reasoning, Assumption-Premise-Conclusion, Assertion and reasons, Statements and assumptions, identifying valid inferences, identifying Strong arguments and Weak arguments, Statements and conclusions, Cause and Effect, Identifying Probably true, Probably false, definitely true, definitely false kind of statement, Linear arrangements, Matrix arrangements
